NQA-1
The ASME NQA-1 nuclear quality assurance standard. Westerman's nuclear organization has 40 years of NQA-1-related manufacturing experience, more than 5,000 NQA-1 compliant vessels delivered since 2019, and NQA-1 qualified lead auditors on staff.
10 CFR 71 Subpart H
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission packaging and transportation requirements for radioactive material. Westerman builds UF6 cylinders to Subpart H quality assurance requirements for certified packaging and transport.
ASME U/UM/PP/R
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code certificates held by Westerman: U (pressure vessels), UM (miniature pressure vessels), PP (pressure piping) and R (repair) — the foundation for code-stamped fabrication across the product line.
10 CFR 50 App B
Quality assurance criteria for nuclear power plants and fuel cycle facilities. Westerman maintains Appendix B compliance for components supplied into licensed nuclear facilities.
10 CFR 21
The NRC rule for reporting defects and noncompliance. Westerman maintains 10 CFR Part 21 reporting compliance, with documented channels for identifying and reporting any condition that could create a substantial safety hazard.
