A full nuclear quality program
Westerman's nuclear organization builds UF6 cylinders to ANSI N14.1 in accordance with NQA-1 and 10 CFR 71 Subpart H, backed by ASME U, UM, PP and R certificates, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR Part 21 compliance.
Proven at scale
Since 2019 Westerman has delivered more than 5,000 NQA-1 compliant vessels with 99.8% on-time performance and 100% domestic sourcing — including 2,180 Fernald waste containers delivered with zero defects.
Traceability and testing
100% material, consumable, M&TE and personnel identification and traceability, supported by NDE Level II and Level III personnel (SNT-TC-1A based), NQA-1 qualified lead auditors, and hydrostatic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant and ultrasonic testing methods.
